A Michigan mental health counseling center that is diversity-affirming and culturally responsive, providing evidence-based therapy that is grounded in science and research.
Yejie Lee (she/her/hers) is a limited license professional counselor.
If you come from a family or culture that is not part of the mainstream, we will make a good match. I am an Asian American therapist and a first generation immigrant. If you want to talk about cultural misfit, anxiety, and depression, and you want to live a happier, more well balanced life, you’re in the right place.
I specialize in multicultural counseling, meaning I take your race, ethnicity, gender, culture, and background to all be important factors that impact your mental health. If you are struggling with anxiety and/ or depression, I may utilize humanistic, CBT, or other approaches too as I see fit.
I am here to listen to you and build a better tomorrow with you. I want to help you find strength within you because we all have that, whether we realize it or not. Your background and culture that may also think that is hindering your path can also be your strength – if you believe it to be. Knowing yourself and your culture are your superpowers. Let’s find it together.
